With the Wisycom BFL-2 dual RF over fiber module, Wisycom just announced a very powerful piece of wireless equipment. It is a double RF over Fibre Module that can transport rf information over several kilometres through fiber without losing quality of the original input signal. The BFL2 is available as a dual Transmitter (BFL-T2) or Receiver (BFL-R2) module.
Wisycom's patent pending state-of-the-art laser technology is proported to deliver Spurious-Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of 116 dB/Hz²/³ as well as an enhanced system noise figure (NF) of just 10 dB.
Equipped with a BFL-T2 and BFL-R2 pairing, RF range problems will be easily overcome, at least if you're not planning on sending signals to the moon. Both systems also offer selectable filters. Switching between modes is easy since both the BFL-T2 and BFL-R2 have their own interface, as well as access to the Wisycom App for flexible configuration and operation.
IFB-Mode for BFL-T2
When switched to IFB Mode the BFL-T2 can power each of its RF outputs with 12V, this allows it to power external amplifiers such as the Wisycom PAW, to forward Information to areas far away from Sound basecamp.
Also, it serves as an access point for WisyLink which makes the BFL-T2 able to connect with MTPxx and MTHxx Symphony Series transmitters via Bluetooth or LoRa, allowing for full remote control and monitoring of any transmitter device in the zone. And you can do all that whilst sitting comfortably at your soundcart and not having to take one step.
