Vienna location sound people! Join us this Sunday for a Vienna Mixers' Melange with special guests Patrushkha Mierzwa and Mark Ulano.
Patrushka Mierzwa is considered one of Hollywood's finest boom operaters and has worked on over 80 films and TV shows for directors including Robert Altman, James Gray, Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese. She is also the author of the bestselling book, Behind the Sound Cart: A Veteran's Guide to Sound on the Set (2021).
Mark Ulano is a multi-award-winning production sound mixer who received an Oscar for his work on Titanic and has been nominated for four other projects, most recently for Once upon a time in Hollywood, Ad Astra and Inglorious Basterds.
Mark and Patrushka are in Vienna for a series of screenings and masterclasses together with Filmakademie Wien and on the 20th and 21st and they have kindly made time in their schedule for our informal gathering, where we can all catch up and chat directly with them in a relaxed setting.
