The design of the VDB poles is such that the option of internal cabling is available for all models:

The thinnest tube (section 1) allows an XLR to be passed through, allowing the cable to be fitted and removed instantly without technical intervention (disassembly/assembly < 5min).
Each pole model has its own specific cable size, which can be purchased at the same time or purchased separately afterwards.

Straight Heel	Standard internal cable with straight XLR stub output
Side Heel	Standard internal cable with XLR side heel (accessory 6-104 which can also be purchased separately)
Available in MONO (XLR3) and STEREO (XLR5) versions.
