The VT500WA Lavalier Microphone has a perfectly intelligible and neutral voice reproduction due to its high-end capsule. The microphone is also optimised for wearing under clothing and has therefore been established in the film production sector for many years.
The VT500WA is also waterproof to IPX-7 (1m under water for 30 minutes) and has a particularly resistant cable, which makes it ideal for use in wet and harsh environments. Despite these features, the VT500WA sounds the same as the normal VT500.
Thanks to injection moulding, the Lavalier microphone is extremely robust and shock-resistant. The cable is moulded directly into the capsule housing, which makes it virtually impossible to pull out. The microphone is insulated so that it can prevent interference from Radio Frequency signals and the particularly flexible connection cable ensures that handling noise is eliminated.
