Each Double MS Kit features Rycote’s uniquely engineered asymmetric Cyclone basket, constructed with an open-cell structure and 3D-Tex material for unmatched acoustic transparency and wind-noise reduction. The design eliminates straight and parallel surfaces to reduce room-tone coloration and minimize surface turbulence. In extreme conditions, the optional Cyclone Windjammer can be added for even greater protection.

The kit includes an optimized Connbox, precision-wired and internally routed for Double MS configurations, ensuring clean signal paths and minimal handling noise. Paired with the Lyre suspension and Floating Basket System, internal vibrations and boom-borne resonances are effectively isolated.
