The Hawk-Woods VLM-FX9/15 (Sony) V-Mount Camera Mount with 4x D-Tap is a 15mm bar-mount adaptor designed for Sony FX9 and FX6 cameras, offering a compact and professional power solution. It enables the use of V-Lok batteries, replacing standard BPU batteries for extended performance and greater flexibility on set.
This adaptor provides 4x Power-Con (D-Tap) outputs (11–17V) and 1x 5V 2A USB output, ideal for powering multiple accessories or charging mobile devices. Power is delivered via a regulated 20cm DC jack, supplying a stable 19.5V input to the camera.
A built-in low-voltage LED warning indicator activates at 11.5V, ensuring you’re alerted before critical battery levels are reached. This added layer of protection compensates for the FX9’s internal display, which only reflects a constant 19.5V, helping avoid unexpected shutdowns during critical shoots.
