The Genelec 8000-409B floor stand is a sturdy steel stand with a large cast base and 3/8" thread for mounting the monitor. It is suitable for the 8x20, 8x3x, 8x4x, 8x5x, G Two, Three, Four and Five models. The height can be adjusted by means of clamping screw and locking pin.
The 8x20 and 8x3x models can be mounted directly on the 3/8" thread. For the installation of the monitors 8x4x, 8x5x and the optional adapter 8000-406AD (3/8" to M10) or the matching IsoPod adapter plate is required. But the stand plate also offers advantages for the smaller 8x20 and 8x3x models: The monitors are acoustically decoupled from the stand on the IsoPod, and the monitors can also be tilted.
