The Genelec 7050C subwoofer is a perfect match for the 8010, 8020 and 8030 monitors, providing analog inputs and outputs up to 5.1 surround and handling bass management. The integrated crossover ensures that only frequencies above 85 Hz are passed on to the connected speakers. These are thus relieved in the bass range and can deliver a higher resolution. The overall system also achieves a higher sound level. In addition, there is an LFE input up to 120 Hz for surround.
The patented LSE design (Laminar Spiral Enclosure) ensures powerful low bass without flow noise. The Class D power amplifier guarantees high power reserves without distortion. The important adjustment to the room acoustics is done via dip switches. The phase position can also be adjusted in this way. The automatic switch-off function as soon as no signal is present for a longer period of time efficiently saves energy. The 7050C also convinces with compact dimensions and a universal switching power supply.
