The DPA 4060 CORE+ Omni Lavalier Microphone is the very first miniature microphone developed by DPA from the best technology previously only used in hearing aids and measurement microphones. This microphone handles sound pressure levels up to 134 dB before clipping occurs. This mic is well suited for applications where the sound source is more remote or damped when you need to have a good balance signal versus noise.
What is CORE+ Technology?
CORE+ neutralizes distortion across the entire dynamic range of the microphone, making any residual noise imperceptible and virtually unmeasurable. This new technology provides a new level of pure, clean audio for an extraordinary sound experience, whether recording or amplifying content.
DPA's CORE+ technology also reduces the hassle of unpredictable challenges of live sound environments, such as when the talent speaks or sings at louder volumes or on stages with multiple microphones. Microphones with CORE+ completely eliminate artifacts, while enhancing the transparency of the entire sound image, to provide audio professionals more freedom to create their desired soundscape.
