The Deity PR-2-II is built for working videographers and professional content
creators who know that great images cannot rescue bad audio. Whether it is worn
by talent, planted inside a vehicle or placed somewhere the crew cannot easily
reach, the PR-2ii provides dependable, high-quality recording in a compact
package that stays out of the shot and out of the way.
A new dual-ADC preamp architecture delivers lower self-noise than the previous
generation, capturing cleaner dialogue and more detail in quiet scenes while 32-bit
float recording provides the headroom needed for unpredictable levels. IP54 dust
and splash resistance, improved drop resistance and a redesigned battery door
make the PR-2-II better prepared for real production environments.
Its new integrated belt clip also makes mounting faster and eliminates the need for a
separate clip accessory.
With more than 20 hours of recording from two AA batteries, wired and wireless
timecode, remote control and support for memory cards up to 1 TB, the PR-2-II is
designed to keep working through long shoots and demanding locations. A bright
600-nit colour display and built-in headphone monitoring give operators the
information they need at a glance. Supplied with the Avora lavalier microphone,
foam windscreen and lapel clip, the PR-2ii is ready to capture clean, synchronised
audio straight out of the box.
