Description
The Ambient QuickPole Counterweight is a stackable, screw-on counterweight for the QuickPole Series.
It attaches directly to the rear end, simply remove the rubber bumper and screw it onto the built-in thread – no tools required.
Each counterweight adds just under a pound of weight and features a threaded connection on both ends, so you can stack multiple weights to fit your setup.
An integrated 3/8" thread on the counterweight opens up a second use case entirely: mount your boom pole on any standard stand and turn it into a slim, elegant plant mic setup.
The counterweight is available in two versions:
- Counterweight for QuickPole Series 5 – 476 g
- Counterweight for QuickPole Slim – 453 g
The counterweight has a diameter of 35 mm, which is wider than the QuickPole Slim's 30 mm tube. As a result, the original rubber end cap of the QuickPole Slim will no longer fit once the counterweight is attached. The bundle CW-QPslim-P35, that includes the 35 mm rubber bumper, is a suitable replacement.
For users stacking multiple counterweights on a QuickPole Slim: the second counterweight must be the QuickPole Series 5 version, as the outer thread of the first counterweight matches the QP5 standard.
